Design/Build & BIM
Building Information Modeling (BIM) has been a major component of our workflow since 2007. First employed simply to transfer basic information to CNC machinery, BIM has grown to benefit not only our machinery and production control software but is advancing into estimating, project management, and field activities. We utilize in-house detailers and outside detailing firms. All in-house detailing and most subcontracted detailing firms utilize Tekla Structures for modeling. We maintain licenses of Autodesk Revit Structures to aid in model transfers both to and from outside sources along with CAD for handling some miscellaneous items.
Erection & Installation
Our erectors are equipped with the latest safety equipment to complete the job at an accelerated schedule while maintaining the highest level of safety. Our project team works closely with erectors to sequence projects ensuring we are meeting our customer’s needs. At the start of steel erection, our erectors are in constant communication with our shipping department coordinating deliveries in order to avoid costly traffic jams on job sites. The erector closely monitors the daily activities of the site to ensure the material required for erection can be installed with the most efficient means possible.
